Passenger Injured in Two-Vehicle Rollover Crash on Broadway

EL CENTRO, CA (July 25, 2022) – Police identified Roberto Romero and Karla Mancera as the drivers involved in a crash on North 8th Street.

The incident happened just before 11:00 a.m., on July 19th.

Investigators say the collision involved a Nissan Murano, driven by Romero and a GMC Arcadia driven by Mancera.

Per reports, Mancera struck the passenger side of Romero’s vehicle for reasons unknown. Upon impact, the Nissan rolled over and struck a curb along Broadway.

Paramedics arrived and transported one injured passenger to El Centro Regional Medical Center.

Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. Any witnesses are asked to contact gredfern@ivpressonline.com or (760) 337-3415.
