51-Year-Old Dies in Deadly Collision near Dillon Road

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (November 7, 2022) – Late Monday night, police responded to a crash that claimed the life of Roberto Moscato.

According to CHP, the crash happened on October 31st at around 10:20 p.m., along Long Canyon Road.

Furthermore, officers arrived at the scene and declared 51-year-old Moscato dead at 10:59 p.m.

Investigation showed that Moscato was driving a Honda CRV on southbound of Long Canyon Road when he ran through a posted red light at Dillon Road.

He then continued to drive and struck a dirt berm on the other end of the intersection. His vehicle then lost control and overturned causing him to be ejected.

Also, the CHP added that Moscato was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident. No other information was released and an active investigation is ongoing.
