Vehicle Collision on Francis Avenue Left Two Fatalities

CHINO, CA (May 3, 2022) – A motorcycle crash on Central Avenue left Roberto Huizar-Pineda and David Hur dead, early Friday morning.

According to police, the collision occurred around 12:12 a.m., on Central and Francis Avenue.

Investigators said a motorcyclist was heading south on Central Avenue and collided with a sedan as it turned north onto Central from eastbound Francis Avenue.

Due to the impact of the collision, 30-year-old Huizar-Pineda died at the scene. Meanwhile, 69-year-old Hur succumbed to his injuries at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center shortly after.

Additionally, both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

No other information regarding the fatal collision is available at this moment; however, an active investigation is still currently ongoing.
