29-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Box-Truck Collision near Decatur Boulevard

LAS VEGAS, NV (September 22, 2022) – Late Monday morning, Robert Schneider was fatally struck in a motorcycle crash on Flamingo Road.

The incident happened around 11:25 a.m., near Decatur Boulevard on September 19th.

Per reports, the rider of westbound 2019 Yamaha motorcycle was approaching a private driveway when the driver of an eastbound 2022 white box truck failed to yield and struck the motorcycle.

Upon impact, Schneider suffered serious injuries. Medics arrived and transported 29-year-old Schneider to University Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Also, the westbound lanes of Flamingo Road between Decatur and Edmond Street were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Meanwhile, the driver of the truck stayed at the scene to cooperate with the investigation and showed no signs of impairment.
