48-Year-Old Man Dies in Hit-and-Run Collision near Woodley Avenue
SUN VALLEY, CA (November 1, 2021) – 48-year-old Robert Norton lost his life after a pedestrian-car accident on 170 Freeway in Sun Valley.
The fatal crash happened around 4:55 a.m. on October 14, on the southbound lanes of the freeway near Woodley Avenue.
According to reports, a southbound vehicle struck Norton. However, the events leading up to the crash remain unknown. Paramedics arrived and rushed him to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, officials did not release further information about the driver of the vehicle that struck him.
However, an active investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing.
