55-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies in Fatal Collision near 14th Avenue

SACRAMENTO, CA (March 25, 2021) – On Saturday afternoon, 55-year-old Robert Moyse of Sacramento, was killed in a pedestrian accident on Fruitridge Avenue.

The accident happened around 2:30 a.m., on March 13 in Colonial Village. For unexplained reasons, a car struck and killed Moyse while he was walking on the road.

First responders found the man in critical condition upon arrival. Eventually, Moyse died at the scene of the collision.

The driver, on the other hand, was unharmed in the collision. Moreover, the driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Officers later closed Power Inn Road between 14th Avenue and Fruitridge Road for several hours while they investigated the scene. However, the roadway has since reopened.

Even though the cause of the accident still remains unknown, an investigation is underway.
