Male Cyclist Fatally Injured in Deadly Collision near Rosecrans Avenue

FULLERTON, CA (February 10, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, Robert Galvan was killed in a bicycle accident on Beach Boulevard.

Officers received dispatch calls around 12:30 p.m., on the northbound lanes of Beach Boulevard near Rosecrans Avenue.

Upon arrival, units discovered the male bicyclist lying in the roadway. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, responding medical personnel declared the bicyclist dead at the scene.

At this time, it is unclear whether the man rode into the back of truck that was parked illegally, or if he was struck by a hit-and-run driver. An active investigation is still currently underway.
