Glendale Big-Rig Crash Closes Northbound 5 Freeway

GLENDALE, CA (September 3, 2021) A big-rig crash on Tuesday blocked the northbound Golden State 5 Freeway for at least two hours.

Authorities responded to the collision just after 11 A.M. near the Western Avenue off ramp from the northbound 5 Freeway.

However, the total number of injuries and the circumstances surrounding the collision still remain unclear.

In the end, officials closed down the northbound lanes of 5 Freeway until the crews cleared out the scene.

Glendale authorities continue to investigate the big-rig crash.
