Crash on Highway 93 Resulted in One Death and Road Closures

WICKENBURG, AZ (November 8, 2021) A fatal head-on crash on Highway 93 blocked the highway early Thursday morning.

According to authorities, the crash took place just after 4:30 a.m.

Moreover, the crash on Highway 93 closed in both directions at milepost 172, just north of Congress.

Furthermore, the burned-out truck was seen on the side of the roadway in video from Arizona’s Family News Chopper. The crash completely destroyed the front end. A pickup truck was also seen being placed onto a flatbed tow truck in the video.

Additionally, one person died on the scene but their identity has not been released at this time.

Consequently, investigators are attempting to put together the events leading up to the incident while emergency services strive to clear the route.
