Authorities Identified 67-Year-Old Man in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Indiana Avenue

RIVERSIDE, CA (November 19, 2021) – 67-year-old Riley Froom, of Riverside, lost his life on Tuesday night following a pedestrian crash on Indiana Avenue.

The tragic crash happened at 5:50 p.m. on November 16,at Indiana Avenue near Monroe Street.

The CHP reported that a vehicle traveling eastbound struck Froom who entered the roadway, for unknown reasons, and crossed the roadway outside a crosswalk.

Responding police officials pronounce Froom dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver did not stop and continued driving. Police did not released a description of the vehicle but continue to search for the hit-and-run driver.

An active investigation, on the other hand, is now underway.
