Rider Seriously Hurt in Motorcycle Accident near Valley Parkway

ESCONDIDO, CA (August 3, 2022) – Sunday night, a motorcycle crash on 15 Freeway left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.

The collision happened around 10:26 p.m., on the northbound lanes of the freeway near Valley Parkway.

According to California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist rear-ended a white van. After the impact, the motorcyclist and the van ended up in the middle lane.

Medical responders arrived at the scene shortly after and transported the rider to Palomar Medical Center for further treatment of major injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.
