Motorized Unicycle Rider Killed in Traffic Accident on Oak Street
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (June 7, 2022) – On Wednesday, a person riding a motorized unicycle died in a vehicle collision on Octavia Street.
According to the report, officers responded to the incident around 4:00 a.m. on Octavia and Oak Streets in Hayes Valley.
Furthermore, upon arrival, they located one male cyclist suffering from severe injuries.
Eventually, the rider succumbed to their injuries despite the life-saving efforts of the first responders.
Investigators determined that the rider struck the rear part of the Recology collection truck.
Meanwhile, the responding officials said the truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
