Fatal Motorcycle-Vehicle Collision on Lean Avenue

SAN JOSE, CA (September 9, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, one rider was killed in a motorcycle crash on Santa Teresa Boulevard.

Police responded to the scene just before 2:00 p.m., at the intersection of Santa Teresa Boulevard and Lean Avenue.

Per reports, the driver of a vehicle struck a motorcyclist in the area. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the motorcycle rider dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Authorities closed Santa Teresa Boulevard in both directions between Lean Avenue and Vale Drive to conduct an investigation. No further details regarding the motorcycle crash on Santa Teresa Boulevard are public at this time; however, San Jose Officials will provide more information once made available.
