Motorcycle Accident on State Route 21 Resulted in One Fatality

VISALIA, CA (August 29, 2022) – Thursday afternoon, one rider was pronounced dead following a motorcycle crash on Road 24.

The crash happened just after 3:30 p.m., on Road 24 and State Route 201.

According to investigators, a 34-year-old motorcyclist going westbound on State Route 201 collided with a 70-year-old pickup-truck driver who was traveling southbound on Road 24. The collision ejected the motorcyclist and left him with fatal injuries.

Emergency crews arrived at the site of the accident shortly after and pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. At this time, his identity has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.

Following preliminary duties, Visalia Officials said that alcohol did not play a role in the incident.
