Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead in Two-Vehicle Collision near Las Brisas Boulevard

RENO, NV (May 10, 2023) – Tuesday night, a two-vehicle crash at McCarran Boulevard left one motorcyclist dead. The incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. near Las Brisas Boulevard on April 11th. According to reports, a motorcyclist traveling west on McCarran tried to turn left onto Kings Row when a pickup truck traveling east on McCarran struck the rider for unknown reasons. Due to the severity of the crash, responding paramedics declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the pickup driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at a nearby hospital. Furthermore, officers closed off the surrounding area for several hours while clearing and preliminary operations were carried out. Reno Police have not released the names of all parties involved, and the fatal crash on McCarran Boulevard is still under investigation.
