Suspect at Large after Fatal Motorcycle Collision near Judd Street

PACOIMA, CA (October 22, 2021) – Police are investigating a motorcycle crash on Laurel Canyon Boulevard that left a man dead Saturday night.

The fatal incident occurred around 8:35 p.m., near Judd Street. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.

According to the investigators, the rider of a 2012 Kawasaki merged into a two-way left turn while going northbound on Laurel Canyon. The motorcyclist then collided head-on with a gray 2015 Toyota Corolla.

Shortly after, a southbound white four-door sedan struck the rider and fled the scene before the authorities arrived.

The Toyota driver remained at the crash and cooperated with the authorities.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported the man on a motorcycle to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Following a preliminary investigation, $50,000 has been made available to anyone who can provide the identity of the hit-and-run driver.
