Fatal Interstate 5 Crash Left Motorcyclist Dead

SAN DIEGO, CA (August 11, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a motorcycle crash on I-5 that claimed the life of a motorcyclist last Saturday.

The fatal incident happened around 8:21 P.M. on the southbound San Diego Freeway at Cesar E. Chavez Parkway, said CHP.

In addition, officers also determined that the motorcyclist was moved to the center divider at that time.

However, the reason behind the incident remains unclear to the investigators.

Furthermore, the CHP has not publicly provided the identity of the deceased motorcyclist from the crash.

The authorities issued a SigAlert around 9 P.M., shutting down 1 & 2 lanes of southbound I-5 at Ceasar E. Chavez Parkway.
