31-Year-Old Hurt in Motorcycle Crash on Tully Road

HUGHSON, CA (April 11, 2022) – Wednesday evening, one motorcyclist sustained injuries after a traffic collision on Narcisco Way, police said.

At about 6 p.m., the collision happened on Narcisco Way and Tully Road according to police.

Furthermore, police said a motorcycle headed north on Tully Road slammed into an ice cream truck headed west on Narcisco Way, south of Hatch Road.

Consequently, the 31-year-old motorcyclist sideswiped the truck at the intersection.

Eventually, paramedics transported the rider to a local hospital for treatment of a head trauma, and the 61-year-old truck driver was also taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Investigators have not released the identities of either party at this time.

An active investigation into the crash is currently ongoing.
