Truck vs Motorcycle Accident on Highway 99 Left One Person Injured
BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 11, 2021) – One person sustained injuries in a truck vs motorcycle accident on Highway 99 near Highway 65.
The California Highway Patrol arrived at the southbound side of Highway 99 south of 7th Standard Road near Highway 65. As per reports, a part of a truck fell off the road and struck a nearby motorcycle.
As a result, the rider flew off and fell on the right side of the road.
Responding emergency crews rendered aid to the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries at the scene.
Meanwhile, the truck driver did not sustain any harm.
Bakersfield police did not release any additional information at this time. However, the cause of the accident and factors involved remain under investigation.
