Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision near Ashe Road

BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 12, 2023) – Saturday evening, one rider was hospitalized after a motorcycle crash on Panama Lane.

The incident occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m., near Ashe Road.

According to reports, a pickup-truck and a motorcyclist were heading west on Panama Lane when the truck driver struck the rider.

Upon impact, the pickup-truck lost control and struck a building and a fire hydrant. First responders arrived and located the severely injured rider down on the road.

Paramedics then transported the rider to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Meanwhile, the truck driver did not sustain any injuries and stayed at the scene to cooperate with the investigation.
