Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in DUI Collision in Barrio Logan Neighborhood

SAN DIEGO, CA (December 23, 2021) – A rider sustained injuries after a suspected DUI motorcycle crash on Harbor Drive.

According to police, a Nissan Versa driven by a 41-year-old man hit a 2014 RSV4 around 5:00 p.m., on Harbor Drive.

Per reports, the driver was parked in the 2400 block of Harbor Drive prior to the incident. Investigators said the rider broadsided the Nissan after making a left turn from the curb.

Shortly after, first responders arrived and transported the motorcyclist to a hospital with a broken leg. Meanwhile, authorities arrested the Nissan driver for suspicion of DUI.

At this time, San Diego officials are still currently investigating the motorcycle crash on Harbor Drive.
