67-Year-Old Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Collision near Oakdale Avenue

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 25, 2022) – Sunday morning, a rider was fatally struck in a hit-and-run motorcycle crash on Bayshore Boulevard.

Per reports, officers responded to the incident around 8:52 a.m., at the 300 block of Bayshore Boulevard near Oakdale Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located the 67-year-old male rider lying on the roadway. However, the events leading up to the incident still remain unclear.

Paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Although, authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency.

Crews closed the area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.

At this time, authorities are still working to identify the hit-and-run driver who failed to stop after hitting the victim.
