Motorcycle Collision on Shepherd Avenue Claimed the Life of One Man

FRESNO, CA (December 1, 2021) An unidentified rider lost his life in a fatal solo motorcycle collision on Shepherd Avenue.

The crash happened around 10:00 p.m., in the area of Shepherd and Champlain avenues.

According to CHP,  a witness told them that the rider attempted to run a red light that led to the crash. Responding officers located the rider lying in the center median of the road with major injuries.

Paramedics then rushed the rider to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities withheld the name of the rider pending notification of kin.

At this time, it is unknown whether the crash was caused by speed, drugs, or alcohol or the heavy fog at the time of the crash.
