Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead after Fatal Crash on Warner Road

CHANDLER, AZ (March 28, 2022) – Friday afternoon, fatal motorcycle accident on Pennington Drive left one rider dead.

The collision happened at the intersection of Pennington Drive and Warner Road. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Per reports, the motorcyclist was heading west on Warner Road approaching Pennington, when suddenly, a car turned left in front of the rider. As a result, the two vehicles collided.

Medics arrived and rushed the rider to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Officers did not release the victim’s identity until further notification to the next of kin.

Following preliminary investigations, officers do not suspect drugs or alcohol were a contributing factor in the collision. Meanwhile, the area was temporarily closed to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

The police will release additional information once it becomes available. An active investigation is currently underway.
