Motorcycle Accident on Pacific Avenue Kills 23-Year-Old Rider

LONG BEACH, CA (September 2, 2021) – Sunday, a 23-year-old man died in a motorcycle accident on Pacific Avenue in Long Beach.

The crash happened around 4:30 p.m., on August 29 on Pacific Avenue near 32nd Street.

For unknown reasons, the motorcyclist was heading north when he lost control of his 2013 Kawasaki motorcycle.

With the rider still attached to the bike, the motorcycle slid on the ground until it was hit by a northbound 2010 Ford Mustang.

Due to the impact of the collision, the motorcyclist from Long Beach was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The Mustang driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.  Meanwhile, officials have not revealed the identities of those involved to the public.

Moreover, it was unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash, but police speculated that speed was a factor.

At this time, the investigation is still currently underway.
