1 Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Beach Boulevard

LA HABRA, CA (August 4, 2021) An unidentified rider lost his life Monday afternoon after a motorcycle crash on Beach Boulevard.

The fatal collision happened shortly after 4:40 p.m. at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Sheffield Drive.

According to police, the motorcyclist collided with a car at the intersection. Debris from the crash then hit and injured a nearby pedestrian.

Firefighters responded to the scene and treated the parties involved. Medics then transported the rider to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Authorities will not release the name of the motorcyclist until their family has been notified.

Furthermore, officials temporarily closed Southbound Beach Boulevard at Lambert Road.

La Habra Police are still reviewing the crash for more details. More information will be provided as soon as it is available.
