Pickup-Truck vs. Motorcycle Collision on Interstate 10 Left 63-Year-Old Rider Dead
TEMPE, AZ (June 23, 2023) – Early Monday morning, police responded to a motorcycle accident that killed Rick Marino. The incident occurred at around 2:50 a.m., June 19th, in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 involving a motorcyclist and a pickup truck. According to the Arizona DPS, 63-year-old Marino bumped into the pickup truck causing him to be ejected from his motorcycle. Furthermore, the police determined that Marino was wearing a helmet and safety gear at the time of the incident. Unfortunately, he suffered significant injuries and he later succumbed to it and authorities pronounced him dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the pickup truck driver remained at the scene and police stated that he showed no signs of impairment.
