63-Year-Old Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on Central Avenue

FRESNO, CA (November 3, 2021)  63-year-old Richard Neil died and another injured after a two-vehicle collision on Central Avenue on Monday.

The incident occurred at 7:45 a.m. near Temperance Avenue and East Central Avenue on November 1.

According to the authorities, Neil ran a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a white pickup truck.

Responding officers pronounced Neil dead at the scene of the collision.

Meanwhile, medics took the driver of the pickup vehicle to the hospital for treatment.

At this time, it is unknown whether speed, drugs, or alcohol played a role in the crash. However, an active investigation is underway.
