We already told you about Takami Sushi's incredibly generous offer to donate 100% of profits for the foreseeable future to the Red Cross Japanese Relief Fund.

Now, other restaurants are stepping up to the plate. The Innovative Dining Group (IDG) family of restaurants will donate 25% of proceeds on March 21st to the American Red Cross and their Japan relief efforts. This includes lunch and dinner at BOA Steakhouse, Sushi Roku, Katana, Robata Bar and Delphine in Los Angeles. It also includes BOA Steakhouse and Sushi Roku in Las Vegas as well as Sushi Roku in Scottsdale, Arizona. In an effort to raise more money, all other promotions and Happy Hour discounts will be suspended for the day.

The LA Sake Festival, which hits the Renaissance in Hollywood on March 26th, will donate $10 of each $50 ticket toward relief efforts in Japan. The event features dozens of sakes to be tasted straight-up as well as sake cocktails, a dessert buffet and introductory classes.

We'll keep you informed about other restaurant-based relief efforts.
