The San Jose Mercury-News on Thursday identified all three people who died when a small, Los Angeles-bound plane they were in crashed Wednesday morning in the East Palo Alto fog.

According the paper, the trio of Tesla Motors employees on board included Doug Bourn, 56, a senior electrical engineer, Brian M. Finn, 42, a senior manager of interactive electronics, and Andrew Ingram, 31, an electrical engineer. Bay Area-based Tesla has a design studio in Hawthorne, where CEO Elon Musk also owns Space Exploration Technologies Corporation, and the car maker is reported to be starting up a manufacturing plant in Downey.

Bourn owned the Cessna 310 that crashed in a residential neighborhood about 8 a.m. after clipping a power line.

Yesterday Musk stated, “Tesla is a small, tightly-knit company, and this is a tragic day for us.”
