Most people look at their cars and see a transportation tool they rely on to get them from point A to point B. The thought that a car can also help them advance in their private and professional life never crosses their mind. Still, a Miami-based real estate mogul, Reno Davis, explains that even though a suit doesn’t make a man, it sure helps and that standing out from the crowd is the best way to get ahead in life.

Knowing that success doesn’t come easy, this ingenious businessman uses every tool at his disposal to ensure his success. Besides the usual ones, such as smarts, wits, and dedication to his craft, Davis is often seen wearing luxurious high-end fashion creations from Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabanna, and other timeless labels. And while some people would call it splurging, as he spends a fortune on maintaining his wardrobe, Reno Davis calls his shopping sprees an investment in his future.

“The key to success is to invest in yourself in every way possible. It obviously means keeping your head down, learning and soaking in every bit of knowledge you can, and doing whatever it takes to get ahead of the competition,” says Davis. “But most people forget that the way you look also plays a huge role in how other people perceive you. You can be the world’s greatest expert, but if you don’t look the part, you’ll have a hard time convincing others.”

With that in mind, Reno Davis decided to upgrade his wardrobe with a special brand new car – a custom Jaguar made just for him, a Jaguar F-Type R Coupe. However, Davis is known for standing apart from the crowd and always making his presence known, so he decided to take it up a notch.

Davis went to CWDWRAP, a custom vehicle graphic service company based in Miami, FL, and worked together with the owner, Vitali, to make it all come together. “The car was originally blue when I bought it, but I liked yellow more, so I had it wrapped solid yellow,” says Davis. “Still, I felt that something was missing, the car needed more spice, and I went to Vitali and told him to work his magic and make the car pop and stand out.”

That’s when Vitali suggested they do a “multi-colored wrap” with yellow color as the base and various other colors splattered all around. Reno Davis fell in love with the idea from the very start, and it seems that the multi-colored wrap idea hit right in the middle as the Jag can be spotted from a mile away now. Besides all the magnificent colors on the outside, the car also has some less noticeable upgrades, such as hand-painted brake calipers that feature his first name, “Reno.”

As Davis explains, it’s all part of the job because doing real estate in Miami is already hard with so much competition, and there is nothing wrong with trying to outshine the competitors. “Without Vitali, I would have never even thought about doing this. But I’m glad I did it. Solid yellow was boring, and I wanted to make it pop and make it reflect who I am,” says Reno Davis. “When I pull up, people know it’s me. It’s hard to stay lowkey as everyone looks at my car. It brings much attention, but it’s all a part of the job, you know.”
