48-Year-Old Bicyclist Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near Mission Boulevard

ONTARIO, CA (July 21, 2022) – Sunday morning, a bicycle accident on South Haven Avenue left 48-year-old Rene Morales dead.

The incident happened on July 11th, around 8:50 a.m., near Mission Boulevard. Emergency crews arrived to the scene shortly after.

According to reports, Morales was riding his bicycle near South Haven Avenue when he was struck by a passing vehicle. Upon impact, the bicyclist sustained life-threatening injuries.

Emergency personnel responded and rushed Morales to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics later pronounced Morales, of Fontana dead on July 17th.

At this time, the circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. Meanwhile, Ontario Officials continue to investigate the South Haven Avenue bicycle accident.
