A man who was killed in a gang-related shooting in South Los Angeles August 14 has been identified as 22-year-old Rene Gurdado. Gurdado was shot as he was standing with friends in front of a house located at 3321 west 66th Street near Crenshaw Boulevard around 2:45 a.m. Saturday. According to police reports, the suspects were driving a dark-colored four door sedan. Gurdado, who is not a gang member, was taken to California Hospital where he died at 11:50 am Sunday.

No suspects are in custody. Anyone with information about the shooting should contact LAPD's 77th Division detectives at (213) 485-1383.
