If you sang Whitney Houston's “I Will Always Love You” on a shrill, nonstop loop during a flight from LAX to New York we'd beg for an emergency landing and then dial up the nearest SWAT team.

Fortunately for this crooner, the weekend flight was merely diverted to Kansas City, where the woman in question was apparently detained by Kansas City International Airport Police:

Video of the suspect's last few attempt at “I Will Always Love You,” as she's being escorted from the American Airlines jetliner was posted on YouTube.

It happened Friday night, with the plane landing at KCI about 6 p.m. and stopping there only for an hour because of the unruly passeneger, reports TV station KMBC.

The woman reportedly told authorities that she was diabetic and that the disease caused her outbursts, which not only included a wavering, out-of-tune rendition of Houston's hit, but also screaming.

No word on whether she faced jail time. We reached out to KCI Airport Police but had yet to hear back.

In any case, passengers will not always love that particular flight.
