Man. Myth. Flautist. Tonight, fans of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy will get to see all three when, by the beard of Zeus, Will Ferrell-as-Ron Burgundy signs his autobiography, Let Me Off at the Top!: My Classy Life and Other Musings. While next month's highly anticipated movie sequel picks up where Burgundy and his news team left off after they made it out of the bear pen at the zoo, Burgundy's just-released memoir travels back and traces the origins of San Diego's No. 1 news anchor. You'll learn about his Iowa childhood, his women and his Spanish-speaking dog, Baxter, not to mention his horses, hair and passion for jazz flute. There are even chapters dedicated to “What Kind of Breath Turns a Woman On?” and “My 12 Rules for Living Through a Prison Riot.” “This book is a testament to my giant balls,” Burgundy writes. This is a wristbanded event, so get your tickets to the gun show early. Barnes & Noble, The Grove at Farmers Market, 189 The Grove Drive; Wed., Nov. 20, 7 p.m.; free, book is $22.
