Following the success of the two Wayne's World films, there may have been five minutes where a whole plethora of Mike Myers/Dana Carvey films seemed inevitable. (This would be five minutes before Myers jettisoned his SNL co-star for phat Austin Powers cash.) What Tim & Eric Awesome Show: Great Job!'s Tim Heidecker, along with co-writer Gregg Turkington (aka Neil Hamburger), would like you to do is harken back to exactly those five minutes, and then thrill to the outlandish silliness that is their faux-Myers/Carvey opus, Bicycle Built for Two. The duo unleashes a reading of their own overstuffed, high-concept script onto the UCB stage, capturing that late-'90s, everything-and-the-kitchen-sink vibe by mixing turn-of-the-century baseball with tandem bicycles and featuring “cameos” from the likes of Verne Troyer, Carrot Top and Slash (?!).
