A diverse crowd of women rallied in Grand Park across from City Hall for International Women's Day on Wednesday, March 8.  The turnout was small compared with other rallies so far this year but highly energetic in response to speakers and music. As part of the “Day Without Women” movement, protesters wore red to show solidarity and bring awareness to discrimination against women.
