Record Store Day is this Saturday. Because there are almost as many record stores in L.A. as there are donut shops, we compiled a handy guide to help you get your hot little hands on as much vinyl as possible.

We called every record store in a 40-mile radius and made a list of all the day's deals and live performances — one store will have free food, another will have a cool “vinyl valet,” and a couple are opening at the crack of dawn.

1. Freakbeat Records, Sherman Oaks:

-Will be carrying new RSD releases

-10% discount on all merchandise

-99 cent room full of great finds

2. Atomic Records, Burbank:

-Will not have any new RSD releases

-10% discount on all merchandise

-Will be giving away tee shirts to a few lucky costumers

3. Backside Records, Burbank:

-Special store hours: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.

-Will have exclusive RSD titles

-Bring cash and receive 15% off new vinyls and 30% off used vinyls

-Giveaways

-DJ spinning vinyl all day long

-Free food (coffee and donuts for early morning costumers and BBQ from noon-2 p.m.)

-Private area full of $1 used vinyls will be open on Saturday, the 21st

4. SoundCheck, Hollywood:

-Will have limited edition items and RSD releases

-Buy two shirts, get one shirt 50% off

-Acoustic performances and signings by Hands like Houses and Secrets

5. Headline Records, Los Angeles:

-Will not have any new RSD releases

-Vinyls will be 20% off

-Promotional items like Headline bags, buttons and shirts will be given to costumers

6. Fat Beats, Los Angeles: Los Angeles location is now CLOSED. You can only shop online.

7. Amoeba, Hollywood:

-Will have hundreds of new RSD releases

-12 p.m. Silkscreening of exclusive RSD Amoeba design (while t-shirts last) with $5 donation to The Silverlake Conservatory of Music

-1-4 p.m. Prize wheel with $1 donation to The Silverlake Conservatory of Music

Gues DJ sets:

-1 p.m. Brendan Canning

-3 p.m. †††

-5 p.m. Macy Gray (who will also sign copies of her new album after her DJ set)

-6-8 p.m. The David Lynch Foundation and Amoeba Music celebrate Music That Changes The World with a RSD party at Space15Twenty (located one block from Amoeba),

8. High-Fidelity, Los Feliz:

-Open 10 a.m. to Midnight on RSD

-Will carry a limited amount of RSD releases

-Live music from local bands start to finish

-Rewards program and 5% of your purchase will go toward your next purchase

9. Rockaway Records, Los Angeles:

-Will have new RSD releases

-Semi-annual store-wide sale kicks off; save up to 50% off

10. VACATION, Los Angeles:

-Will have A LOT of RSD releases

-DJ sets by music labels Finders Keepers (2 p.m. – 4 p.m.) and Complicated Dance Steps (4 p.m. – 6 p.m.)

-Free giveaways with every purchase

11. Origami, Echo Park:

-Opens at 8 a.m.

-Will have new releases

-DJ sets 8-3 p.m.

-First 300 costumers will receive Origami tote bag with purchase

-Free vinyl valet (so you don't have to stand around holding your records) and a lounge with a listening station

-Giveaways

12. Angel City Books & Records, Santa Monica:

-Will not have RSD releases in stock

-If you mention this Record Store Day post, you'll receive 20% off

-Carries a plethora of used classic rock vinyls (Stones, Beatles, Led Zepplin, etc.) that you won't find in the more well-known shops

13. RECORD SURPLUS, Los Angeles:

-Will not have new RSD releases

-15% off all merchandise Friday, April 20 – Sunday, April 22

-Dollar records will be marked down, 3 for $1

-Listening station

-Open til 10 p.m. every day but Sunday

14. MIDNIGHT RECORDS, Los Angeles: Although it's listed on the official RSD site, it appears this store no longer exists.

15. Visjon Records, Los Angeles: Another DUD. This store no longer exists either, so save your gas money.

16. Fingerprints, Long Beach:

-Opens 6 a.m. on RSD

-Will have new RSD releases

-Giveaways

-5 p.m. M. Ward Performance is SOLD OUT. There will be absolutely no walk-up entry.

17. Permanent Records, Eagle Rock:

-Will have hundreds of new RSD releases

-Annual RSD Midnight Sale (Friday night)

-Guest DJs

-6 p.m. Instore performances by The Skabbs,Wounded Lion, & Merx

-Appearance/signing by Richie Ramone and more
