Retired Police Sergeant Arrested after Causing Serious Injuries in Highway 108 Crash

JAMESTOWN, CA (January 25, 2022) – Officers arrested Theodore Young for DUI, which left Rebekah Gall injured on Highway 108 Tuesday night.

The collision occurred around 5:15 p.m., just south of Chicken Ranch Road, police said.

For DUI related reasons, the driver of a 2016 Toyota pickup-truck crossed the double yellow lines directly in front of a 2015 Acura sedan.

Consequently, the vehicles collided head-on leaving 27-year-old Acura driver, Gall, with major injuries.

The surrounding area was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.

Officers arrested 63-year-old Young for felony DUI. At this time, Jamestown officials are investigating the Highway 108 crash.
