Here at LA Weekly we pride ourselves at pushing the envelope of what can be exposed to the American news consumer.

Other media outlets aren't so progressive. But we'll tip our hat to KTLA for going where few local broadcasters have gone before.

Sportscaster Rebecca Hall said on air last night of legendary Dodgers' announcer Vin Scully:

Come on, Vin. Get your shit together.

Yep.

She was joking, of course, noting that he's back in the announcer's seat for a 64th season and, apparently, a full voce. She was ribbing him for being such an overachiever.

Hall tried to backpedal by saying “Get your stuff together. That's what I meant to say.”

Shit was way better, Rebecca. You younger viewers were fully appreciating your foul ball.

Unfortunately KTLA News execs prompted YouTube to remove videos of the gaffe.

There's still one up, here.
