Attention cast and crew of the ABC show “Lost”:

The L.A. County Coroner's office is trying to identify a body found last month in a wooded area in Castaic.

So far the biggest clue is that the young man was wearing a “Lost” crew T-shirt from Season 2 (2005-2006). On the back of the shirt is a picture of a plane crash on an island above the words “Filmed on location in Hawaii.”

He was found on March 8, in a wooded area near Quail Valley Road and Sloane Canyon Road. He also had a tribal band tattoo on his upper left arm. He committed suicide by hanging, and the body was decomposed, according to coroner's spokesman Craig Harvey.

He's white or Latino, in his 20s, and skinny: 5-feet-10, 113 pounds. He also had a Marine-style haircut, and a tattoo of a cross on his upper right arm, with the letters MOY and a red rose on it.

Harvey said it is unusual that a person that young would go unidentified for this long. Typically, family members would have turned to authorities for help in finding him by now.

Anyone with information is asked to call the coroner's Identifications Unit at (323) 343-0754.
