Chances are if you are a die-hard comedy fan, you love all forms of comedy regardless of the format, so long as it gives you a good hard case of the shits and giggles. Some fans do prefer certain formats to others, of course; stand-up, for example, is favored by some, while others love sketch and improvisation. Therein lies the beauty of Set List, created by Paul Provenza and Troy Conrad; fresh off sold-out runs in Edinburgh, Montreal and London, the show gives top stand-ups a “set list” of oddball topics and they must riff as if it were their regular act. It's the best of both worlds! Monday's show at NerdMelt boasts an impressive lineup, including Steve Agee, Dana Gould, Jen Kirkman (pictured), Rick Overton and Jimmy Pardo. NerdMelt Theater at Meltdown Comics, 7522 Sunset Blvd., Hlywd.; Mon., March 19, 8 p.m.; $10, $8 in advance. (323) 851-7223; nerdmeltla.com.
