It's almost spontaneous, as dancers, singers, visual-, video- and performance artists are given a theme and two days to create 48 Hours to Action, the annual culminating event in World AIDS Day. Organized by UCLA's Art Global Health Center and the UCLA Sex Squad, the show recruits talent from all over the campus for an evening of dance, song, skits and music to emphasize the ongoing battle against AIDS and the need for HIV awareness alongside healthy sexuality. For information about the group's efforts to fuse art, health and a global network of artists, as well as video clips, go to artglobalhealth.org. UCLA Glorya Kaufman Dance Theater, Wstwd.; Thurs., Dec. 1, 6 p.m.; $6. (310) 825-2101, tickets.ucla.edu.
