75-Year-Old Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident near Casablanca Drive

TUCSON, AZ (April 7, 2023) – Thursday afternoon, police responded to a solo-vehicle crash that claimed the life of Raymond Cossette. The incident happened on the 7200 block of North Casablanca Drive at around 1:40 p.m. on March 30th. According to the Tucson police, a pickup truck driven by 75-year-old Cossette crashed into a fifth-wheel camper. Furthermore, responding officers pronounced Cossette dead at the scene and no other parties were involved. No additional information was released by the investigators and an active investigation is ongoing. Moreover, a large portion of the roadway were temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
