Whether you think the recent raids on raw milk pushers Rawesome Foods and Healthy Family Farms were noble, absurd, callous or simply a by-product of the government's conspiracy to force-feed chemicals to citizens, you will agree that this cartoon is stupid. Then again, with all the drama over a little unpasteurized cow juice (and those pesky permits), maybe it takes an animated dog to clear the air.

“Raw Milk Rover” has nothing on Bugs, Porky, Sylvester, Daffy, or even Marvin the Martian, but we admit we laughed — very briefly — on two occasions. We laughed when the scuzzy, weirdly hip-looking FDA agents brutalize the cringing farmer, tightening up those cuffs until his face turns raspberry-red. We laughed once more a few seconds later when Rover frantically guzzles every drop from his jug of raw milk right before a barking, apoplectic agent can take him down — like a spring breaker downing his sack of wood chip weed just as the CHP closes in.
