Dennis RomeroUnconfirmed reports have L.A.'s controversial Electric Daisy Carnival rave happening at the Los Vegas Motor Speedway the weekend of June 24.
The rave discussion board Plurlife is buzzing with the news, and the Los Angeles Examiner website says it's true but offers no sources.
An official at the Speedway told the Weekly this on Wednesday afternoon:
“We don't have anything confirmed on it.”
She said at this point the booking is a rumor and that similar whispers have the party at the University of Nevada Las Vegas' Sam Boyd Stadium.
The party attracted about 160,000 party-goers over two days last June at the L.A. Coliseum.

The commission that runs the public venue, however, was poised to possibly pull the welcome mat from under promoter Insomniac Events after it was revealed that the Coliseum's events manager, Todd DeStefano, was double dipping as a hand for EDC.
All the while the promoter was lobbying to ensure that the commission would approve this year's event.
Last year's party saw the death of a 15-year-old girl, Sasha Rodriguez, who overdosed on ecstasy. It also saw 200 medical emergencies and 60, mostly drug-related arrests.
With a crush of young people at some of the party's barriers leading to chaos and injury on top of all that, some city and county leaders wondered why these kinds of events were happening at the Coliseum and its sister venue the Sports Arena.
After last month's revelations of allegedly illegal double-dipping by a public official (a matter that's under investigation) Insomniac decided to drop its fight to party. It announced last week the DJ-driven rave was moving to Vegas.
But a venue was not indicated.
