23-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies in Fatal Collision near Rancho Drive

LAS VEGAS, NV (February 1, 2022) – A motorcycle crash on Oakey Boulevard killed Raphael Serralde-Caballero early Sunday morning.

Around 12:30 a.m., police responded on West Oakey Boulevard, just west of Rancho Drive. Per reports, the collision was between a motorcycle and an SUV.

Officers say the 23-year-old motorcyclist was operating a Yamaha XVS950, while traveling west on Oakey Boulevard. For reasons unknown, the motorcycle swerved into a parked Ford Expedition.

Due to multiple blunt force injuries, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities later identified him as 23-year-old Serralde-Caballero.

No further details about the crash were available. However, an active investigation is still currently underway.

Both directions of the roadway were shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. More information will be released as it becomes available to the public.
