“Gotta Get It” is a syncopation of west coast lyrics, midwest sound, east coast flow and dirty southern bounce. After premiering on the nationally syndicated radio program, “The Ryan Show FM” listeners of the show crowned the single the best of the “2022 West Coast Marathon”.

Luckie Mazi also known as “The Greatest Promoter on Earth” is a seasoned entertainment industry professional hailing from the Windy City. While traveling the country as an upcoming artist, Luckie learned the business from the late long-time music veteran and record promoter DeWayne Holmes. After nearly a decade of working alongside Mr. Holmes and major record labels including Interscope, Capitol and J Records, Luckie decided to move to Las Vegas.

It was in “Sin City” that Luckie partnered up with west coast staple Lil Pimpin of DPG. The duo presented the idea of a potential collaboration to hip hop legend Kurupt. After hearing the track the icon proceeded to deliver a smooth opening verse to the song.

Luckie is no stranger to life on the west coast. He spent time harnessing his knowledge of the music industry from Beyoncé’s father, Matthew Knowles, at Point Blank music school in Los Angeles. While appearing on The Ryan Show’s West Coast Marathon Luckie was introduced to future collaborator and hip hop legend turned radio host Mr. Cheeks. “In 6 years of hosting a show with Mr. Cheeks he hasn’t asked to set up a track with a guest of the program. All of that changed today!” exclaimed host of The Ryan Show & Fox Sports Radio broadcaster Ryan Verneuille.

Lil Pimpin has now re-opened his Las Vegas studio, The Talent Pound, with an added reach through the success of “Gotta Get It”.

Kurupt can be found touring with long time friends and business partners Snoop Dogg and Daz Dillinger.
