57-Year-Old Rider and Pedestrian Pronounced Dead after Collision on 3rd Street
BULLHEAD CITY, AZ (October 14, 2022) – Monday night, Randy Jay Coffelt and one other died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 95. Police responded to the scene around 7:20 p.m., near 3rd Street on October 10th. According to reports, Coffelt was riding a motorcycle north on the highway when he struck a male pedestrian who was walking in the area. Medics arrived shortly after and pronounced the male pedestrian dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported 57-year-old Coffelt, of Bullhead City to a nearby hospital where he later died. During preliminary investigations, witnesses explained that another driver had to swerve to avoid striking the pedestrian.
