69-Year-Old Bella Vista Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision near Market Street

REDDING, CA (June 13, 2022) – Friday night, 69-year-old Randall James Lewis was pronounced dead following a head-on crash on Interstate 5.

The incident happened just north of Market Street around 9:18 p.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Per reports, Lewis was driving a 2005 Ford Explorer pickup-truck the wrong-way before hitting a pavement and colliding head-on with Devyn Lewis.

Devyn was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox at the time. The initial impact caused another collision with a tractor driven by Gurtej Singh Sidhu.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced Randall dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics took 51-year-old Lewis, of Shasta Lake, to Mercy Medical Center for further treatment.

Furthermore, Sidhu remained uninjured.
